Happy 75th, Dolores. I hope your vertigo has passed and your family has a fun and safe trip to Breckinridge. We may get a little snow or wintry mix tomorrow morning. Nothing yet has fallen here, but everyone is all excited. We only see snow about once every three or four years, so a chance is a big deal. Also, being in a small town, not a whole lot going on that makes news. Hope all are safe and warm. JB

Hey Don, I think someone used that term incorrectly. It's probably impossible for Richmond to have ice fog, or frozen fog. I found a definition of ice fog in the American Meteorological Society Glossary and it said this: "Ice fog is rare at temperatures warmer than −30°C." I'm not sure what that works out to in Fahrenheit, but that's pretty darn cold for Richmond! Those who live in Alaska are probably familiar with the term. Margie

A weather term was used last night for an area west of Richmond that I never heard before. ICY FOG

32 degrees, heading to 43 later this morning. Bright blue sky and I can see frost on the roadway past the house. Will be black ice in the shade which a person can't see till too late. Just one of the hazards of living in God's Country, the coast of WA state!!

Hey Janice, it's cold here in Cumberland. We got down to 18 this morning. There wasn't much wind, thankfully. I don't make New Year's resolutions. They're too easy to break. I just try my best as the year goes by to do things like eating better, exercising more, etc. Sometimes I do better than others. I do need to detox from all the holiday eating I've done the past couple weeks. Too many sweets add up to a couple extra pounds! Have a great day, everyone! Margie
