Hi folks, I thought I'd post something before this thread expires. I hope everyone had a great weekend. I visited my parents & helped them out & I had lunch with a friend at Ruby Tuesday yesterday with my friend Stacy as our server. I feel blessed that I can call her a friend now. Stacy is such a special person. I also spent time with her on Saturday. I shopped & cooked for my parents so it was a busy weekend. I have an appt today with my oncologist-my 3 month follow-up. Dolores, my mom was the oldest of six sisters. Three of them including her were deaf in one ear. Guess it's in my genes. The only thing that bothers me is when driving and you hear a police or fire engine siren, I have no idea which direction it's coming from.

Happy NY All Got all of our Christmas lights down today. Like Margie said, it has been cold!!! And the winds last night in the Blue Ridge were crazy wild! been busy as we are moving my sweet dad into assisted living. I have been on airplanes more than I like these days! Dolores, if you do a search about vertigo disease, they say vertigo can be caused by "certain antibiotics" as well as inner ear problems. Even though a couple years later I lost the hearing in my left ear while on vacation in Canada with no warning, my vertigo was from the antibiotic Genomycin

Ms Dean, I saw a Weather Review for 2012 given by you on Fox News on New Years Day. It was a very very good report of all the storms, floods, and fires occuring during 2012. Good afternoon to all our friendly blogger family. Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and Great New Year. I've been gone for a few days and miss chatting with you all. Happy belated Birthday Dolores. Hope you and Don and all having health issues,may soon recover. Had a little sleet yesterday afternoon, but at 34 degrees it melted pretty fast. Happy belated birthday, Dolores! I didn't want to miss the opportunity to wish you a happy birthday. I'm glad you're feeling better. I hope the vertigo stays away. Hey to all the other bloggers out there. I'm still trying to get used to being back to work after having 2 weeks off. Starting on a Wednesday sure has things all messed up for me. Happy Birthday, Dolores I found genomycin drops in my eye give me instant vertigo. It happened more than once. Now it's on my allergy list.

Great Picture J.D. I love snow when I see it on a picture. It's another story if I have to drive in it. Best I stay home on those days. We have had only a trace of snow so far this winter. Can't beat that. Dolores, belated happy 75th. Sorry to hear about your bout with vertigo. That is nasty stuff. My husband had it so severe a couple years ago, he had to have dizzy therapy.
