Good morning everyone! 

Weather has been fairly quiet, but things are changing today with two separate storms bringing very different conditions.  The first is a very spring like storm that has brought over 5 inches of rain to Texas yesterday.  Another 1-4 inches is possible across the Mississippi Valley up into the Ohio Valley. 

Not only will we see the threat of flooding, but severe weather is also possible along the Gulf Coast with  damaging winds, hail and isolated tornadoes.

Across the West, a big winter storm pushes in bringing heavy snow, strong wind and blizzard conditions over the Intermountain west, Rockies and northern Plains. 

Some areas could get 2 feet of snow in the mountains.

Meanwhile, warm temperatures will make it feel like spring for the central plains into the east coast over the next few days.  Some areas will see temperatures soar 20 degrees above average before the next blast of cold air moves in.  Here in New York, we’ll be pushing 60 degrees this weekend!   We’re already planning out Saturday and Sunday outdoors!  A nice little taste of spring before the next blast of cold air moves in next week.
