Evening all! Rainy and turning colder in MySouth. It’s been 75 degrees for the last several days. Now, back to 40 degree days. It’s been such a busy week…been keeping 3 of the 5 grands. Their Mom got back from California today, so we the house is quiet tonight…a little too quiet. Hope all have had a blessed Sunday. Don, I would never try to drive in the snow…either to work or to a ski lodge. Southerners CANNOT drive in snow! Y’all have a good evening! Gwen

I think it’s time to post something to cover up the spam again. So much for the spam filter blocking URLs. Anyway, hey to all the regular bloggers! Sam, when I checked it was 27 in Kotzebue–heat wave! Actually, that’s a lot warmer than I would expect areas around the Arctic Circle to be this time of year. We’re only 20 degrees warmer than that. We have fog this morning. We had a high of 56 yesterday & it’s supposed to be warmer than that today. Take care, everyone! Margie

Part of my family lived in Kotzebue AK; 30 miles north of Arctic Circle so I follow weather up there. OTZ.net/webcam/html or just otz webcam if anyone interested. 22 degrees right now, 40 mph wind, snowing, and wind chill minus 8. Days up there are getting really short! There is a radio on the site too that is interesting. It is used as a post office, message center, social facilitator, etc and even has some programming in the native Eskimo language. Station is KOTZ.
