    The storms keep on coming...

    Hello All!

    The winter storm that brought 18 inches of snow to  parts of the central Plains is now winding down, but we’re still seeing snow across the Midwest and Great Lakes.

     

    Here’s some pictures Jason Oldham took in Wichita, Kansas who received 14.2 inches of snow (the 2nd greatest 2 day snowfall total ever recorded!)

    The front associated with this system will stall out and bring heavy rain and the threat for thunderstorms across the Southeast…

    While the Northeast is watching another coastal Low that will develop over the weekend with a mix of rain and or snow.  Temperatures are warmer for coastal PA, NJ, NY so this will be a messy rain/wintry mix, ¦however for New England North and West of Boston there is the potential for accumulating snow totals.  

     

    Another storm from the Pacific moves into the Northwest with 1-2 feet of snow for the Cascades.  This system will dive south and move east bringing the possibility for more snow to areas that got hit from this last system (Nebraska/Kansas) into early next week!  Take a look at this map which shows a possible 6-12 inch swath!

    This has definitely been one heck of a winter!  I, for one, am looking forward to a little warmer weather on the horizon…I just am not sure when it’s going to come.  Unless we all move to Florida!

Evening all. Don, good to hear that Phase 2 went well. Got my fingers crossed now for Phase 3. Had a lovely day in MySouth. But guess what...more rain tomorrow. Our campsites at Lake Okatibbee are under water. We were supposed to camp starting in a week, but it's not looking so good right now. Even if the lake goes down, the campsites may not dry out enough. Y'all have a great week! Gwen :)

Hi folks. I'm just posting something to cover up the stupid spam. At least we had a little stretch where no morons invaded our space. I hope all the regular bloggers are having a good weekend so far. I wish I felt better but I'll survive. Didn't get much done today except resting. It was a nice day but I didn't go out to enjoy it. I think we got up to around 50. I did wear earphones and goggles and watched a video of the English Countryside and various Palace and castles.It was really pretty,but still noisy. And I had to close my eyes,because the video did make me bit dizzy. Our weather is cool and more rain and snow are predicted for the next 3 days.And cold.Love the moisture.Don,glad to hear your surgery went well and hope the next one goes well,too.Everyone stay safe and well.Dolores

Happy to hear all went well for you today, Don. May the third phase go well also. I'll be praying for good results. I hope Dolores, Margie and all the others who have had recent health problems are on the mend. Cool and windy here today. A fairly moderate weekend is in the forecast. Just returned from Hopkins. Second phase of surgery went well. Only pain is at the incision. Going back March 15 for the third phase of this procedure.

Dolores, I'm glad it's nothing more serious and I hope the ENT can take care of it. AJ, our hospital has goggles and headphones to wear during MRIs. You can watch FNC if you want to! They've come a long way. Have a great weekend, everyone! Margie

Hi there everyone,Had one noisy MRI yesterday.Sure wish R and D would work on it to be less noisy.Nothing found except the small growth on the balance stem by the left ear.Might have gotten a little bigger. I will be seeing an ENT,next week and we will see what the next step is.Dr.says I can drive as long as I am not dizzy and stay off the interstate.So that makes me feel liberated.Hope all are well and safe.Very cold today and more moisture last night.Yea.Dolores

Hi Janice: I'm with you. Florida sounds nice and warm right about now. Our condos there are waiting for us. Had to stay in the "cold" this winter since my husband has some health issues. Hi Janice: Now moving to Florida sounds like a real plan. Would you believe we have condos there but because of my husband's health issues this winter, we had to forego a trip South. Oh, maybe next year. I am looking for Spring, with lots of buds on the trees, and flowers coming up, but so far, NOTHING. Guess we will have to wait a little longer. Have a nice week-end evberyone.
