Well, I hope that we do not get anymore show. While it has been somewhat mild here in terms of snow fall, the cold winds do whip up now and then. Today, not bad ( near 50 Degrees), but a constant mid to dark cloudy sky (has the color of a wet grey towel). Sadly, my snowthrower (I call it my snow throwerupper) would not turn on, so I had to shovel away what we got. Looking forward to a good spring and decent summer. Govt says our beaches will be ready for beach season despite Hurricane Sandy.

Hey Gwen! Happy birthday to Katie Gwen! I hope she has a special birthday. We have some little snow flurries today. Daffodils are pretty hardy and they should survive the snow if you get any. .....Darn 500 characters caught me again. As I was saying, the Chimney Rock Park site has a web cam live feed. I found out about it when hubby and I were there back last October. I love to check in each day and see what the weather looks like in the mountains of western NC. Very cool! Love it there! Hope y'all have a wonderful Friday and a great weekend. I'll be hunkered down waiting for the snow! HA! :)

Happy Friday, guys! Another cold, blue sky day in MySouth. We are getting "possible snow" predictions for tomorrow. My daffodils (which are blooming, Margie) may not survive a snow. Today is my beautiful g-daughter, Katie Gwen's, 8th birthday. She is an angel...and growing up way to fast for Mamaw. I did a second post yesterday about the Chimney Rock Park live web feed. I check it daily. That post must have been sucked somewhere into infinity...It never showed up. Check it out.....

JD for some reason I can no longer get my weather. I always check the weather in the morning. All of the sudden instead of my town NY came up. I keep changing it back to my town but I can't get my weather? HELP! Love the doggy kissing you while you were live this morning. Did he eat a lot of your hair?

JD, I really enjoyed the "weather walk". I didn't get to see it live, but watched on the FNC website the Fox and Friends after the show show. You were a hoot! A little cooler here with a slight chance of sprinkles tomorrow. Hope all are doing well and have a great weekend. JB

Have I mentioned that I've become obsessed with the live web cam from Chimney Rock Park? Since visiting there last October, I've had to see what the weather's like there. Y'all check out www.chimneyrockpark.com. Beautiful part of western North Carolina...one of my favorite places on earth! :)

Brrr! Quite chilly here today. Struggling to get to the 50s today...but blue, clear skies again today. We're in for several mid-50 or below days. No rain forecast for several days. May have to trade in my duck feet. Hope all are feeling well today. JD, absolutely loved the "weather walk". One of your classic moments. I believe you have the best sense of humor of anyone on Fox. Hi bloggers friends: Weather today is cloudy, little snowy, and still looks like Winter. Are we looking for Spring? I am. However, no buds or flowers in sight yet.
