  • One storm exits, another moves in...

Good morning all!  Happy Friday.   Looking forward to a little warm up this weekend here in the Northeast!  Woohoo!

It’s been a crazy week of weather, and looks like things are NOT going to quiet down as we head into a new workweek…

The storm system that brought heavy snow across the Midwest and midatlantic is now pounding the northeast with mainly snow and wind:

Some areas across New England could get over a foot of snow while areas around New York could see 3-5 inches.

Strong winds, coastal flooding and battering waves will threaten vulnerable areas that were compromised by Hurricane Sandy.  The storm should pull away tonight while a new storm across the West will be our next weather maker through the weekend.

Heavy rain and snow will push into California, the Southwest and the Central Rockies.  Later on today through tomorrow severe weather could break out across the Southern Plains as this system moves east.

And don’t forget to “Spring Forward” on Sunday with Daylight Savings Time!

Be safe everyone!  Have a great weekend.

Hey folks! Thought I'd post one more thing before this thread expires in the morning. We got up to 67 today--heat wave! It was windy today so it didn't feel quite that warm but it was lovely nonetheless. I got out yesterday to take some pictures. Went to one of my favorite spots--Rocky Gap State Park. I hope everyone has a great week! Margie

Hey Dolores, I didn't want you to feel lonely on the blog so I figured I'd better post something. It's been quiet around here lately. Congratulations on the pending arrival of another great. You've got a growing family there! I hope you are feeling well. Hey to everyone else out there--if there's anyone else out there! It's sunny and 43 so far today. It's supposed to get up into the 50's so we'll see. Have a great weekend, everyone! Margie
