  • More snow and severe weather this week

    Hello everyone!

    Happy weekend to you all….

We saw some pretty extreme weather last week with record breaking April snow to hundreds of reports of severe weather including over a dozen tornadoes that did tremendous damage, and killed 3 people.

We have a similar set up this week with more crazy snow and the threat for strong to severe storms across the Plains.

A new storm pushing across the Rockies will move into the Central U.S. starting tomorrow through Thursday.  Here’s a look at the snow threat:

Temperatures will be 5-25 degrees below average as this new storm pushes into the Northern Plains and Upper Midwest

Winter weather watches and warnings are up:

Meanwhile, the severe storms could start up tomorrow and last through Thursday!

On a nicer note, we’ve got wonderful weather here in the Northeast this week including D.C. where the cherry blossoms are in full bloom!  Gorgeous!

While in Denver, they need to be shovel-ready again for more snow!

How’s that for extremes?   Hope you all have a safe and wonderful rest of your weekend!

A wonderful 85 in Dallas. ha ha Hope all are well. will be praying for all in need. Hope all have a great day. PJ

Hey folks! Hope everyone had a great weekend. Audrey, I'll be keeping your husband and you in my prayers. Gwen, I'm so glad all that nasty weather missed you last week. Those tornadoes are so wicked. I thought I'd post something since I'll be out of commission for a few days starting tomorrow. And this thread will expire soon, too. Hope everyone has a great week! Margie

Audrey from Indiana

Hi all: Sorry you have not heard from me in recent weeks. My husband John has been in the hospital and now rehab since March 4th. It's been a long journey, but he is improving and hopes to come home in a week or two. Pray for complete healing and strength for him. He is anxious to come home as I am having him here. Weather today is cloudy and rainy. Spring is still trying to "peak through." Audrey

Hi all 80 in Dallas 90 tomorrow. Hope all are well and having a great weekend. I use to do medical billing before the new healthcare and please please check the bill. You will be charged for things you don't get and ask what the DX codes are. If you go in for Surgery & is a smoker the first code is smoking even if it is foot surgery. so the charge you more. so make sure you agree with the DX codes and they are for what you have and nothing else. Praying for all in need.have a great evening. PJ

Hi guys. Rainy morning early, but it turned into a pretty decent day. Supposed to be in the mid to upper 80s for the next few days, then back to mid 60s. I really do dread the hot weather. Torndadoes the other day were very close. I live in the county southwest of Kemper...where the worst damage/death was. It was a scary afternoon for sure. Hope this week goes better. Continued prayers for our blogging friends w/health issues. Y'all take care! Gwen :)

Pretty decent morning here on the WA coast. I see our annual spring onset of skiers and hikers getting buried in avalanches has begun. People just don't believe it could happen to 'them". Two more days and I can get this D--n catheter out. It is just a royal pain in the patootie!! Got the bill for 12 hours in hospital a couple weeks ago...$32,000. I found some stuff that looks bogus so will have a chat with the folks up there.
