Hi all! 51 deg at 11:30am, dark overcast and has been pouring down rain all morning. On the bright side; it is only 6 more months till spring! I need to go out and plant some more daffodil bulbs as soon as the rain stops this week. My wife won a sack of bulbs as a door prize at a breast cancer benefit. I don't know if it still holds true but here at Grays Harbor we have had the highest rate of all types of cancer in the state. It's kind of rare for a family not to have been affected.

Watch your news every morning. I have a guest ion for you. How long and how much more are we the American people going to take before we stand up for our rights? I can't believe that we the American people are just going to sit back and let this president take away our rights that our forfathers fought for without a fight. We is taking our SS, Medicare, health insurance that many of us have worked so hard for all of our lives and God only knows what else he has already taken. Thank you for you.

I like your news, but I think your message would be a whole lot more effective if you were at just a little less biased. Most stories and commentators are so biased that they're almost funny.

Hi to Margie, wasam, Audrey and all of the regulars on this wonderful site! Margie, thanks for the "heads up" that you'd posted new photos on your Web site. They are beautiful; you are a beautiful person and a true artist. I thank all of you for your prayers and positive thoughts for my sister that was diagnosed with Stage 4 pancreatic cancer last May, when I first joined this site. Her Oncologist told her today that she is his longest living patient. Please, keep Marie in your prayers. Dan

Hi all. We have mostly conifers in this area so the leaves that get colorful are mostly limited to maples. The rest of the hardwoods like Alder just drop leaves still green. A lot of people get ornamentals from New Zealand for their yards which get really pretty. I've got 3 but don't know what they are!! Take care. Stay safe.

Hey everyone. We've been having some chilly fall weather the past few days. For those of you who have checked out my blog in the past, you'll have to check it out since I've been posting some fall foliage photos on it. We didn't have widespread bright colors this year but there have been some pretty spots. It was kind of an odd year as far as the colors went. Some trees just turned brown & then the leaves fell off. I hope everyone has a great afternoon. Take care, everyone! Margie

Hi all: What a gorgeous time of the year. We are blanketed in our area with some of the most beautiful colors. What a creation we have to enjoy. Even the purple leaf that J.D. shared is an example of the beauty that surrounds us. We are receiving rather gloomy weather today with rain for the next 24 hours. By the way, I bought some candy corn yesterday and the flavor is pumpkin spice. Yummy! Wish I could give each one of you some. Enjoy the rest of your day everyone. Audrey
