    Hi everyone!

It’s been a busy week.  Things are calming down a little now.  Can you believe how cold it’s been across the eastern half of the country?  And a lot of places saw record snow on Tuesday!  Talk about a winter reality check.  The good news is temperatures are going to rebound as we head into the weekend for many of us in the deep freeze!  BRRRR!

    Talk to you all soon!

Oh great, the idiot spammers found this thread. Anyway, good morning to the regular bloggers. It's a cold 28 here in my neck of the woods. It is supposed to get up to the mid 50's so that will be nice. I hope all the regular bloggers have a great day! Take care, all. Margie

Sam, I set up my avatar at gravatar dot com. You need to set up a word press acct but it's easy. If you go to the help section, it tells you what steps to take. I haven't had any issues with it. I used my gmail acct so they don't have my personal e-mail. Hope it works for you! Margie

Request permission to come aboard, Sir! Hi all. Just a quick note to check in. Got some weather moving in and up to 12" snow is expected in the passes east of Seattle. Looks like my travel season to Wenatchee is about over. To get there from here means crossing 3 passes: Tiger Mountain, Snoqualimie, and Blewett. Margie, If I want to add an avatar with my name is there an easy way? I have one for Discus and GretaWire that I would use. Just wondering.... Sam

Hey AJ and Dan! Glad to see blogging family instead of spam. I love being called the Enforcer! It actually turned into a nice day today with highs in the mid 50's. Tomorrow it's supposed to be a little warmer than that. I had a health scare this morning. Went for my follow up appt with my radiation oncologist & he felt a lump on my right side. (It was the left side where I had the cancer last yr.) Well, his office called the mammography dept & they were able to fit me in. (It helps that they knew me from when I worked there.) I got a mammogram & ultrasound & it turned out to be a cyst. My dr. thought that was what it was but wanted to make sure. I was at the hospital most of the morning for all this stuff. It took me most of the afternoon to settle down. I had dinner with a friend and that helped. Take care, everyone. Margie

Sonoma Dan

Hi to all the regulars and hope that you're all doing well. Out of respect for my dear blog friend Margie (the Enforcer), spammers and complainers - go away. You are SO on the wrong site! Ardith, hope that your son-in-law is continuing to improve. Please, keep us posted. Margie, after seeing the temperatures that your part of the country is enduring, I shouldn't complain - but I will! It was cold, grey and foggy most of the day here in Paradise! Good for the chardonnay grapes! Dan
