Thanks Dan for the tip on soup recipes. I will check out the food network website and see what I can find that is yummy and interesting. We have warmer temps today and sunshine. Now that's a blessing. I am tired of the frigid stuff! Have a wonderful Sunday afternoon, and enjoy the beginning of another week. Audrey

Good Morning. Thunder and lightning right now. The wind came in last night about 10pm and by 1am the roof was torn loose on my shop/tool shed and was flapping away. It is fixable if no more wind comes. NOTE: Nat Geo is airing The Legend of Mick Dodge tonight and tomorrow, both days at 7pm. The story is of a local who lives in the Hoh Rain Forest just north of us. Mick has lived off the land up there for 14 years, sleeping in hollow stumps, whatever. Just a heads up. Sam

JD, the weather here in Michigan is finally nice today. We got some rain and so it melted some of the 17.2 inches we got earlier in the week. We are so grateful to have our lights and heat back that there are no complaints here at our house. Love your weather updates. Kiss the boys for me. Thanks for all you do to make watching the weather so enjoyable.

Great, now we have a long-winded idiot spammer! Hey to all the regular bloggers. Hope everyone's weekend is off to a good start. We're going to be soggy today. Yesterday was such a nice mild day. (It's pretty bad when 42 feels mild but after -1, that's almost balmy!) If anyone wants to share recipes, you can post them on my blog. I don't have a character limit (I don't think). Here's the URL: throughmylens-margie dot blogspot dot com (replace the word dot with a period (.) Take care, all. Margie

Hi bloggers and Janice. It is soggy but a warm 51 degrees at 7:30pm. I fixed dinner on the barbecue; T-bone, baked potato and some corn. I love potatoes cooked on the barb., they taste different. The weatherman, Steve Pool, for KOMO 4, ABC, Seattle did a video for the Seahawks this morning. Well worth watching since we are going to win the Superbowl next month. Look up Steve Pool ode to the Seahawks, komo 4, ABC. I found the link first on Gretawire, Fox. See ya later.

Hey bloggers: Does anyone have a good recipe for soup? Any kind? I'm looking for something to warm our tummies during these cold winter days. I know my husband has told me he is getting tired of soup, but if I come up with a recipe from one of our fellow bloggers, I am sure he will be happy! We're getting rain on top of all the snow, what a mess. Sure hope people don't have problems with flooding! Talk more later. Audrey
