  • Happy Monday!

    Good morning everyone

Sorry it’s been awhile – we had a busy week with Groundhog Day and then it was Houston for the Superbowl!   What a game last night.  I think a lot of us will be putting our heads down and trying to nap a bit on our desks this afternoon.   Hope you all had a wonderful weekend.

It’s hard to believe it’s February already.   We’ve got another big round of heavy rain and mountain snow across the West over the next few days.

Several inches of rain will fall along the coast and feet of snow will pile up in the mountains.

A new storm will bring rain and thunderstorms for the eastern U.S. tomorrow.  We could see a little bit of severe weather with this system for the southeast:

And near record warmth will be the story across parts of the Plains and Mid atlantic midweek:

Have a great day everyone!  Hope you will tune in for Fox and Friends this morning to see the highlights of our Houston Superbowl trip…

Sonoma Dan

40 days and 40 nights - good Lord, do we have rain in NoCal! Desperately needed, but maybe not just all at one time. Hope that all the regulars are doing well. AJ, glad to see that the moisture has headed far enough south to help your area. Had a good friend from OH visit last week and he wanted to go wine tasting. The weather was horrible, but the Sonoma and Napa valleys are so beautiful, it didn't matter. I'm so blessed to live here! Take good care, all. Best - Dan

Good morning. A little slushy snow on the ground this morning but will be gone soon. The sun is peeking out now with a few blue sky patches. I watched some parts of the game yesterday, live streamed to my PC. Lost the feed a couple of times though. The feed I was on showed the half time show but none of the game commercials. Everybody take care, be safe...Sam
