    Janice Dean | Meteorologist

Good morning everyone.  Happy Friday.  This week went by so quickly!  There’s lots of weather happening as we head into the weekend.  We’ve got the risk for severe thunderstorms and flash flooding  from portions of the southern plains to the Ohio valley

Large hail, damaging winds and isolated tornadoes are expected today in these areas:

And tomorrow we’re also looking at a widespread region of strong to severe thunderstorms:

There’s a “cold side” to this storm where heavy snow will pile up over portions of the Rockies and the High Plains.

Meanwhile, above average temperatures expected for much of the eastern U.S.

    Have a great weekend everyone!

Thanks to all of you for the love and support over the last few weeks from your kind emails and messages.  So happy to be back with my second family here at Fox.
