  • Severe storms for the Plains, a warm up for the Northeast?

Good morning all!  Hope you had a great weekend.  Mother’s Day in our house was fantastic.  My dream of staying in bed most of the day came true with school-made gifts and chocolate cake.  It was wonderful.

Out the window,  what’s left of our coastal storm is still lingering over New England, and we’ve got showers and thunderstorms from the northern Plains to the Upper Great Lakes.

Strong thunderstorms, with large hail and damaging wind gusts are possible from west Texas to west Kansas. High fire danger continues in the Desert Southwest and Florida.

We’re going to see heavy rain over the Central U.S. this week and heavy snow across the Rockies:

Temperatures will soar across the Plains and Southeast.

Some of those warm temperatures will move into the Northeast this week which I think will make a lot of us happy!

Have a great Monday everyone.  See you on Fox and Friends!
