  • Severe storms for the Central U.S, extreme heat for the Southwest

    Good morning everyone.  Happy Thursday.  Hope your week is going well.  We’ve got a few weather stories we are following today:

    Showers and thunderstorms will be the story across the Midwest, Plains into the Mississippi and TN Valleys.

    Some of these storms could turn severe with the threat of large hail, damaging winds and tornadoes.

    Excessive and potentially dangerous heat is expected over parts of California into the Southwest this weekend:

    Temperatures will be into the 90s and 100’s for several days.

    Warm temperatures will be ongoing for the central and southern U.S. while cooler temperatures are expected over the MidAtlantic and Northeast.
