  • Happy Monday!

Good morning everyone.   Back from a great vacation up North.  I’ve posted plenty of pictures on Instagram, twitter and Facebook if you want to check it out.  I must admit I didn’t know where I was when the alarm went off this morning!

Back to it –  we’ve got the risk for strong to severe thunderstorms from the Northern Rockies across the Central Plains into the Ohio Valley.

Damaging winds, large hail, heavy rain, and flooding will also be possible.

Meanwhile, it will be hot across the Plains today with heat indices well above 100 degrees.

Persistent hot and dry conditions will also worsen ongoing wildfire activity in the West.

We’ll see rain across some of the areas affected by wildfires, but not across the immediate coast.

Have a great Monday.  See you on Fox and Friends!
