  • Strong storms could delay travel in the Northeast

Good morning everyone.  Hope you had a wonderful weekend.  We’re starting this Monday off with some stormy weather across the Mid Atlantic and Northeast.

Some storms could turn severe while flash flooding will also be a risk.

Meanwhile, the severe weather threat will shift to the upper Midwest and Great Lakes tomorrow and Wednesday.

Cooler temperatures are the story for the Northeast back through the Great Lakes while the summertime heat continues across the Central U.S.

We’re also watching the threat for showers and thunderstorms for the Southwest with higher than average fire danger over the Northwest.

Have a wonderful day everyone.  See you on Fox and Friends!

Hey AJ and JB. We actually had a cool day yesterday after a lot of hot and humid days. On Saturday we got almost two inches of rain. It rained extremely hard at times and there was a little thunder. It was nice to get a little break yesterday from the heat and humidity. It was nice and cool this morning in the low 60's. Take care, all! Margie

We actually had some rain this morning(4:00AM) which was very welcome. July rains are extremely rare here. Supposedly it will reach triple digits for 5 of the next 7 days although it is hard to feel a big difference between 99 and 101 when outside. Hope all are having a good start to their week. JB
