  • Cooler than average for much of the country

Good morning everyone!  Hope you all had a great weekend.  We’ve had a lot of heavy rain from the South to the East Coast.  We’re still watching for isolated flooding with storms across the Southeast.

A powerful cold front is part of the reason we’re seeing all the rain, plus we’ve got below average temperatures for two thirds of the country.  That pattern is going to stay with us for the next week or so.

The center of Tropical Storm Franklin is spreading heavy rain across the Yucatan Peninsula. The system will move over the Bay of Campeche and make a 2nd Mexico landfall Thursday. Thankfully Franklin will not be a threat to the U.S.

Have a wonderful day everyone.  See you on Fox and Friends!
